1 Pound Shrimp (Cleaned and De-Veined)

Herbs & Spices

12 Cloves Fresh Garlic (Finely Chopped)
1/4 Cup Onion (Finely Chopped)
8 Onouces Mushroom (Sliced)
1/2 Teaspoon Italian Seasoning Mix
1/2 Teaspoon Celantro
1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper
2 Tablespoons Flour / Corn Starch

Liquids

2 Cups Marsala Wine

Shrimp Marsala Directions

  1. Finely chop garlic
  2. Finely chop onion
  3. Slice mushrooms
  4. Mix flour or Corn Starch with 1/4 Cup of Marsala Wine.
  5. Over medium heat saute garlic, onions, and mushrooms until mushrooms are soft
  6. Once mushrooms are soft add in plain Marsala Wine and then the Marsala Wine and flour / Corn Starch mixture
  7. Turn heat down to Low-Medium and let simmer for 20-25 minutes. (Until entire sauce is one creamy consistency.)
  8. Add in Shrimp and let cook for 5-10 minutes. (Depends on the size of the Shrimp. Small shrimp cook in about 5 minutes whereas larger shrimp can take up to 10-15 minutes.)

Recipe notes

This Marsala Sauce can be used for more then just Shrimp. You can use it for ANY Marsala dish. You can pair this with whatever pasta you like or if you are feeling adventurous you can make Couscous to go with it.
